Math Classes
The grade sevens and eights have been doing different things in math.
The grade eights, well…I’m not too sure what they have been doing. I think they have been doing something along the lines of finding volume and surface area, perhaps other things too.
The grade sevens, however, have been making scale diagrams. But these scale diagrams relate to our social studies unit on Rome. We have to do scale diagrams for some of the structures in Rome. I am doing aqueducts and the Circus Maximus.
A while back, all of the grade sevens worked together and we found tons of measurements for Roman structures. We had to choose two structures and make scale diagrams of them.
The grade eights, however, will have to find the volume for these scale diagrams, and possibly, more things too. I’m not all that sure yet…

Hey Christeen!
Math? It’s okay sometimes. Once I know how to do it, then I’m fine with them. I hate doing hard math though. The scale diagrams we have been doing are fine, though, because I am good at them and I haven’t had any trouble (only at the beginning, which I got past.) I am more of a Language Arts person. I love writing and I am great at it. So math…I guess it’s not bad. If I was a little better at it, maybe I would like it more.
